UPDATE, Feb. 7: Today's work on Judd Avenue is now expected to last until 7 p.m.

Feb. 3: AUBURN, Ala.- Closures are expected on Judd Avenue beginning Wednesday, Feb. 5, while a contractor makes sewer and water connections for a mixed use development.

One lane will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 5 and 6, during work to connect the sewer lines. A full road closure is expected on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 6 and 7, during the water connection.

Traffic will be detoured around the closure via Piper Avenue, Peter Street and Dunford Avenue.

Work is expected to take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. All residences in the area will remain accessible.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
